In Memory of
CLAUNDYKE  J BARR (March 20, 1995 - March 20, 2009) - was the best animal I could ever hope for. He was a GSD/Wolf cross. Claundyke passed away on his 14th birthday. He taught me most of what I know now about training and behavior. Claundyke was protective of me and his pack, he was gentle with babies - human and animal, he was a performer and comedian. Claundyke was a traveling dog also. He had been from one end of the US to the other. And even made a trip to Niagra Falls where he posed for photos from the many other visitors. He will be greatly missed, but the memories he leaves behind will help ease the pain.
"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.
You are his life, his love, his leader.  He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to worthy of such devotion."
AKIEA- (March 20, 1995 - May 26, 2008)  Akiea was the full brother to Claundyke. Akiea was diagnosed with a mucus plug in his gall bladder and a hematoma attached to his spleen. I opted for surgery, but Akiea was ready to leave this world.  Akiea was a very loving dog that was a good leader to the pack. Although he hated Hans! Akiea wasn't as goofy and easy going as Claundyke, but he still made a huge impact on my life. Akiea came to me at the age of 6 years, after his owner had passed away. Knowing Akiea since puppyhood, prompted me to take him in.  Akiea was very shy at first, but over the years learned to take everything in stride. He will be missed, but at least him and Claundyke are together again.
