I have 8 new Border Collie babies, born Oct. 03. 2009. 5 girls, 3 boys. Colors are black and white, and tri-colored. The mother is our little Kit.  The sire is a nice male that is also a training client of mine. Both dogs have great temperaments, medium drive and very willing to please. When Kit isn't performing or raising pups, she is a lap dog!   Both parents do have herding lines in their pedigree. Hami's line comes from some Herding competition lines. These pups will be ABCA registered. I combined these two dogs because they both had the qualities I want in an Agility dog and companion.  Kit is titled in Obedience, Agility, Rally and has been in a commercial, and is part of my performing group. Her pedigree includes a Grand Champion (herding) and is OFA Excellent. My puppies are raised in my home and are exposed to sounds and stimulants early on. The puppies will be started on House/Crate training, Clicker training, and will be exposed to the outdoors, different objects, terrain and all of my other dogs.  I have handled these puppies regularly from birth, had their nails trimmed and weighed weekly.  Their inside pen consists of two potty boxes to get them use to a "potty" area. At 5 weeks, I have started them eating Pro Plan Puppy food soaked in warm water, and I have also started taking them outside for potty breaks. They have toys in with them at all times.
